Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 June 2026
1. The service
Mervo (“we”, “us”) provides a market-intelligence platform for the cardiovascular medical-technology sector: curated news and literature with editorial scoring, market data, clinical-trial information, and related analyst services (the “Service”). These terms govern your access to and use of the Service.
2. Informational purposes only — no advice
All content on the Service — including impact scores, sentiment, market sizing and analyst commentary — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute investment advice, medical advice, legal advice or any other form of professional advice, and must not be relied on as the basis for investment, clinical or purchasing decisions. You are responsible for your own decisions and for verifying any information before acting on it.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Seats created under a subscription are for individual named users within your organisation and may not be shared. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or put the Service at risk.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider, Stripe. You can change or cancel your plan at any time via the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Prices and applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
5. Acceptable use
You may not: resell, redistribute or systematically scrape the Service or its content; share exports beyond your organisation's internal use; circumvent access controls or usage limits; or use the Service to build a competing dataset. CSV exports and documents are licensed for your organisation's internal business use.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its curation, scores and compilations are owned by us or our licensors. Underlying third-party articles remain the property of their publishers; Mervo links to and excerpts sources rather than republishing them. You retain rights to data you upload; you grant us the licence needed to operate the Service.
7. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of completeness, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. We may improve or change features over time; material reductions to a paid plan during a billing period entitle you to cancel.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or trading/clinical decisions made in reliance on the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the account page (see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data). We may terminate or suspend access for material breach. Sections 2, 6, 8 and 10 survive termination.
10. Changes to these terms; contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified via the Service or email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions: support@mervo.io.
